ya know what i love most about her? she is SO sweet and had the hardest time being sexy and modely (is that even a word?). Mari (the amazing girl in charge of the pageant and former mommy model) was a life-savor in helping with reflectors, posing, ideas...seriously she is a genius! so so much fun... i love them both!

well...even though she had the hardest time...we ended up forcing it out of her in between the giggles. erika...i hope you win Ms SUU AND Ms Utah! you deserve it!

i was standing in weeds while mari was standing in a big mud puddle holding my reflector, while ericka stood in her dress and heels like this.....and we ALL just WAITED for the dang wind to catch just enough for the hair and dress to move. (sigh) totally worth the wait...next time i am bringing my own giant battery operated fan!

Road Rage

This really made me laugh so so hard......I almost cried...maybe its my late-night-humor-everything is so so funny-when-I'm tired SELF that comes out at night...

Have you ever had a bad day and SOMEHOW while driving people seem to just make it wonderfully WORSE by cutting you off, honking, giving you the bird, or the hands in the air "what are you DOING" look? WELL that was MY day today! I think I ran 10 errands in which 1/2 of them were in vain (long story)so I spent most of my day driving around. Unfortunetly my left blinker does NOT work right now so driving is a little tricky. People have yelled and honked (even when i was SAFE and changed lanes) and being the california driver i am, i just dished out the sassy-ness right back.

if you know me, you might think i am a nice person until you see me drive. funny thing is, my biggest pet peave is when people drive about 10 miles an hour UNDER the speed limit. i can hardly contain myself at 5 over. (my husband has this problem and thinks i am the world's worst back seat driver)

THAT is why i do not advertise my business on my car....

i can NOT believe how FAST this week is going! here is the stinkin' cutest fam ever.... i have to hand it to mom...she did more than perfect on dressing her little family.... if anyone ever asks me what to wear for their shoot and they have girls i will just send them over to this blog link...















there is nothing in this world like pictures of a dad and his little girl...even at weddings i cry when it comes to the daddy and daughter moments...
